When landlords evict tenants unfairly with no valid reasons, such landlords deserve a severe bashing, followed by flogging.

I have no issue walking about Adelaide late at night & as a skinny tall bloke I have had no issue walking around at 5 am through the city, even through hindly st, just the occasional druggie asking for a smoke or something.

Anonymous 2020 and Martin Smith are still spot on. Adelaide is much better than many other Australian cities - as an example no security guards stationed in many shopping centres. I would add that the CBD after dark is not terrible, but is more risky in the vicinity of late night spots and places that serve alcohol. Also, police stats reported in newspapers suggest car break-ins and thefts are more problematic in the CBD than many other areas.

I don't think this reflects Adelaide quite as it should. Adelaide is far more sinister than these numbers reflect

Adelaide is relatively safe for the most part, I was able to walk by myself in the city without any trouble happening (Though you'll sometimes get approached by a couple of druggies that are looking for ciggies or something.) However i would recommend staying on the walkway's where the trams and car pass by at night and would strongly recommend walking with a group when crossing into Hindley street at night. Another thing i would like to say is, stay out of the low income area such as Elizabeth,Davoren park,and maybe Smithfield cause that's where drug dealing is rampant.
